Official Rust servers

Treat official wipes like a forecast. Most of these servers wipe on a set weekday, and Thursday is the busiest front: expect queues from the minute the server returns, in the evening across Europe. A wipe usually peaks within hours and then settles. Some hold their players for a fortnight; others drain inside a week. Check the next wipe estimate against the live count before you commit, and remember times shown are UK time with UTC alongside. If you want the wider picture, including community servers, the full live list has every public server.

Official status tells you who runs the server, not how busy it will be. The count beside each name is the number of players connected at the last refresh; a queue means the count sits at the slot limit. Group size matters here: most official servers keep Rust's default of eight, but some set three or four, which changes the pace for solo and duo players. Wipe days cluster on Thursday, Monday and Friday, so a busy Thursday front can leave quieter servers on the same day. For force wipe dates that apply to every map, see the force wipe countdown.
